Along the way to Sibenik we drive through Croatia, which was uneventful. What should have been a 4 hour bus excursion turned into an 8 hour journey due to a fire. I arrived back into Sibenik at 4pm, finally made it to the hostel dumped my bags off and went for a walk around the town. Before crashing back at the hostel and having dinner. The beginning base is the biggest city of Dalmatia, situated the mid region. The town is historically important too, Roman Emperor Diocletian built a dwelling there because the sea and by high mountains protects the Sibenik archipelago's islands on the side.
